Quality Standards

Good childcare is achieved when everyone shares the same understanding of quality and we continuously develop our work in an open and transparent manner.

As a member of kibesuisse, the industry association for childcare, we adhere to clear quality standards. These form the basis for our cooperation with childminders and for service agreements with local authorities.

Framework quality standards

  • Institutional sponsorship with contractual regulations
  • Compliance with labor law principles for all employees
  • Maintenance of a professional accounting office
  • Requirement profiles and job descriptions as well as function and competence diagrams
  • Consulting, mediation, and support
  • Education and training in accordance with the educational concept

Our Educational Concept

We want the best for our daycare children.

It is of central importance to us to hire caregivers (daycare families) in a timely manner, to accompany daycare families and parents, and to support them to the best of our ability so that both sides can fulfill their responsible tasks of care, support, and education in the best possible way.

The educational concept serves:

  • Families as guidance on what educational framework they can expect from us
  • Caregivers as an answer to educational questions for different age groups of daycare children
  • All employees in our institution as the basis for our educational approach

The educational concept is based on the framework for early childhood education, care and upbringing. The Swiss UNESCO Commission and the Swiss Childcare Network are the joint publishers.

The code of conduct for the prevention of physical, psychological, and sexual abuse in supplementary family education and care

The code of conduct for the prevention of sexual abuse achieves the following goals:

  • Raise awareness: all daycare organizations address the issue with their employees
  • Be vigilant: critical situations that arise in private settings are identified and defused through conscious action and appropriate rules
  • Protect everyone involved: not only are potential victims protected, but caregivers are also helped to behave appropriately in sensitive situations
  • Build trust with parents: the code of conduct creates transparency and trust while protecting caregivers from false accusations.
  • Increase capacity to act: supervisors have the ability to take action and respond more quickly in serious cases.
  • Relieve pressure: with the code of conduct, the entire organization supports the content.
